Final week

Hi Students, This is our final week and I would like to thank all of you for your being a part of this class and for all of your hard work. All materials that are due(with the exception of observation reports) are due on December 18. Anything not handed in at this time will not be graded. In addition, there are the following notices: 1. Those students who have not been advised for next semester, please contact Professor Powers at stephen.powers@bcc.cuny.edu Dr. Powers is very knowledgeable and helpful, so please seek him out if you have not done so already. 2. I have unfortunately sprained my ankle, so I am having to suspend class visits for a few days. If you are scheduled for this week, please call me or text me at 646-355-7934 to reschedule for next week. 3. Our test is on Wednesday of this week. Please arrive on time. Remember the study skills we discussed in class--including getting a good night's sleep before the exam and answering easy questions first. I am sure everyone will do fine. 4. Those people wishing to do the extra credit project remember the details: 2-3 pages double spaced reflection on any topic we have covered in class. In this paper discuss (1) the topic you want to discuss (2) what you have learned about this topic in class, in readings, in your placement and (3) how you think your knowledge of this topic will help define the teacher you hope to become one day. Please knock my socks off with your work or you are wasting your time. Really give it your all. 5. A more advanced study guide is about to be posted. Please consult it in preparing for your test.
