Book: Corduroy, by Don Freeman
The critical thinking lesson plan for he story book Corduroy asked provided students to with a lot of what, how and why questions. I chose this lesson plan because it allowed students to further extend on their answers by asking how they know such information or why they think this happened in the story. Also children begin to think outside of the box being creative, instead giving literal answers. Lesson plans that involve critical thinking can be expanded with questions that involve the students including themselves in the story. Suggesting the students to ask what, how or why they would do certain things that pertain to the story, if it were them.
