Due to my own computer glitch with the blog, I haven't been able to get on to post new information for you. Please review the materials posted now as best you can for class on Wednesday. Be aware that you will need to bring in your response to the article handed out in class and you should be posting a lesson plan you find interesting from somewhere on the internet.
Here are the materials we discussed during class last Wednesday:
We discussed Bloom's Taxonomy, both the old and new versions. The old focuses on what type of tasks students are asked to do. The new focuses on what students are doing when completing assignments.
Here are some verbs that you can use while formulating activities for students to do. Each verb corresponds to a rung on the steps upward on the taxonomy.
I am posting several articles here in a moment. We will be reviewing some of them during class and you will be asked to make a lesson plan of your own after this class.
